I'm not 100% sure on this identification but I'm pretty sure this is a leaf hopper nymph of some variety. It was a cool little bugger that's for sure. Just a tiny spec of orange on the potato leaf.
As I was taking picture of the nymph a fly landed on the leaf and from the way it landed I thought it would go in for a kill. He helps give you more of a sense of scale for how small the nymph is.
I waited patiently with finger ready to shoot when he started to move off, so I snapped one more of the fly before he departed.
